Position Title:

Licensed Addiction Counselor/Addiction Counselor Licensure Candidate

Reports to: Clinical Director/Supervisor

This is a full-time or part-time position with pay dependent on experience and licensure.

Schedule is based on your availability and our clients needs, this will be a set schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients individually to provide counseling for Substance Use Issues
• Facilitate groups that meet ASAM standards for best practices
• Meet with clients individually to conduct a Chemical Dependency Evaluation (Biopsychsocial) following the ASAM format
• Complete the written portion of the evaluation within four days of the interview
• Complete documentation by Tuesday every week
• Meet with Clinical Director weekly and attend case reviews with other staff every two weeks.
• Maintain a license with the State of Montana, in good standing.
• Complete 30 hours (this is 10 hours about the State requirements) of continuing education a year.
• Be able to work well with all staff and adhere to the philosophy that everyone employed here has a specific role in providing wrap around support to our clients.
• Perform regular assessments (DAST, DLA-20, MAST) to determine level of care is needed
• Must possess valid Driver’s License and ability to obtain commercial level insurance.
• Must be able and willing to travel when required
• Must possess communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must have the ability to create and maintain professional and effective working relationships with peers.
• Must have good computer skills such as: Excel, Outlook, Word, and Secure Video Conferencing. Must  have proficient typing skills
